We are supporting a client in Spain, specialized in delivering cybersecurity audits and assessments across various industries. To enhance their expertise and expand their auditing capacity, they seek to collaborate with a former CTO or CIO, now working as an independent contractor or advisor, for a Cybersecurity Auditor role.

About the Engagement:

The client is a professional services firm focused solely on cybersecurity auditing. They support medium and large enterprises by evaluating systems, infrastructure, and compliance. They are looking for a senior external auditor to lead or support specific client audits with an executive-level perspective.

Ideal Profile:

• Former CTO, CIO, or senior tech executive
• Currently working independently as a consultant, contractor, or advisor
• Hands-on expertise in cybersecurity audits, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls
• Strong understanding of cloud security, risk analysis, and audit documentation
• Able to produce and present independent reports and findings
• Spanish residency or familiarity with local/regional regulations (preferred)

Engagement Type:

Project-based contract (scope and timeline to be discussed)

Languages:

Spanish and/or English fluency required
