This is an exciting opportunity to develop yourself in mobile network field due to we areexpanding to additional international markets and currentlyoperating as a MVNO in Germany and the Netherlands.
As a member of the Operations team you will take care of our mobile core infrastructure. You will be based in Malaga but working closely with the teams in Germany and the Netherlands. In this role you will have end to end responsibilities. This means you will deal with projects and design as well as support related matters. Examples of tasks and projects you may be involved in include: setting up servers, maintaining German and Dutch mobile core networks (GSM, 3G, LTE, VoLTE), and development projects in close collaboration with our Voice Development team.
THE ROLE
- Monitoring, operating, troubleshooting of Wireless Core networks. You’ll also make sure that knowledge and continuity of it are ensured.
- Understanding 3GPP mobile network protocols and interworking.
- Tracing mobile core components (GGSN, SGSN, SMSC, HLR, STPs) e.g. via Wireshark.
WHO ARE YOU?
- 3+ years of experience working in mobile network environments
- Operational experience in monitoring, operating, and troubleshooting Wireless Core networks.
- Setting up network nodes, and servers environments based on Unix
- Experienced in vendor steering a plus
- An innovative mindset and hands-on mentality
- 24 x 7 support capability
- Due to the international setting a proper command of the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
