At ITP Aero, we are looking for a Head of IT Development to join the Information and Security Systems team. The position will be based in Zamudio (Bilbao) and will be responsible for coordinating and leading IT project teams globally throughout the project lifecycle (analysis, preparation, design, construction, deployment), using the most advanced project management methodologies, change management, and lean mindset to deploy information systems that significantly improve the company's efficiency with a global focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise IT development projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and scope.
• Define project objectives, outcomes, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between IT teams and company areas.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and conflicts, applying appropriate resolutions and contingency plans.
• Track and report on project progress, providing updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and cost control.

Requirements and Skills :

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience of over 10 years leading and managing complex information systems projects. Experience in the industrial sector and / or environments related to the aerospace and defense world is highly valued.
• Knowledge of Information Systems Technology (SAP, SIEMENS, and MICROSOFT).
• Project Management Methodologies : Waterfall, Agile...
• Change Management Methodologies : ADKAR, Kotter...
• Languages : Advanced level of English.
• Soft Skills :
• Leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
