The Industrial Solutions team is looking for a Specialist Business Development to gather and analyze data about the market segment and/or product range whilst supporting the EMEA sales teams. The position will report to the Manager Business Development located in Belgium.

This position can be either located in Terrassa (Spain) or Leuven (Belgium).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the Donaldson systems with up-to-date information on both existing and new products. Service and care pack lead generation (CRM). Merchandiser role: responsible for the display of products and campaigns and follow-up on success and implementation.
  • Taking initiatives to propose new ways of working, implement new systems and work on challenging projects. Supporting IS by developing processes, tools, analyses that drive implementation and lead to successful growth. Partnering with the sales and service organization for Business Process Optimization. Leading strategic projects that support business growth. Examples are: development of our Catalogue(s) and eCommerce data, coordination of Marketing activities, set up customer and product specific data. Work on different ad hoc projects and support/collaborate with different (industrial) business units.
  • Collecting and analyzing market and product data. Identify sources for data input and market analysis. Maintain manuals and customer specific information.
  • Driving strategic initiatives that support further growth of EMEA IS AfterMarket. Work together with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and Sales. Supporting the different involved teams with training, setting up user guides and giving active support.

Your Profile:

  • Higher Education (Bachelor), preferably in business administration, economics, or finance, or equivalent through experience.
  • 2 years of working experience.
  • Business and strategic insights with an eye for detail.
  • Interest and experience in maintaining and improving databases and systems.
  • Accountable and result oriented, eager to learn and able to set priorities.
  • Supporting team player, able to work with a wide range of people in an international environment.
  • IT skills – MS Office with solid Excel skills, CRM, Oracle.
  • English is a must, any other European language is an asset.
