Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead - Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote hub, spanning commissioning and service phases.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot via remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to ensure stable performance and continuous improvement. Relocation to Barcelona is expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
