Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure safe and efficient offshore wind operations across lifecycle stages.

You will work with site teams and engineers, analyze operational data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements. Relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
