Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets, collaborating with site teams and experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues to ensure turbine reliability.

The role involves remote diagnostics, field support, and participation in commissioning and service phases with a rotating weekday shift and occasional on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in wind energy operations and maintenance is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them to troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
