Job summary

GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will work across commissioning and service phases, coordinating with site teams to ensure turbines perform reliably and are continuously improved.

You will troubleshoot remotely, analyze data, and support grid operations as needed, with rotating weekday shifts and on-call rotations for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Able to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
