Job summary

GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead - Wind Remote Operations in Barcelona, Spain, supports the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center, spanning commissioning and service phases to ensure turbines perform reliably.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering specialists to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement, with a rotating weekday shift schedule and occasional on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
