GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain, oversees safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote center. You work across commissioning and service phases, partnering with site teams and engineering experts to diagnose and resolve issues for reliable turbine performance.

You will monitor performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support field teams while contributing to data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and alarms from a remote operations center.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance.
• Rotate weekday shift schedule and on-call during weekends/public holidays.
