Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) to supervise safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from Barcelona. Collaborate with site teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across commissioning and service phases.

The role requires wind energy expertise, SCADA experience, and strong communication under pressure. Travel up to 20% and willingness to relocate to Barcelona are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
