Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center in Barcelona. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues across commissioning and service phases.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, experience with SCADA, and strong analytical communication. Willingness to travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy sector.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
