Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze faults, and drive remote diagnostics to ensure safe, efficient operation through commissioning and service phases.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and strong communication skills to coordinate with engineering teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
