Job summary

GE Vernova aims to lead the transition to sustainable energy with a dedicated ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona. This role supports safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a remote operations center, spanning commissioning and service phases.

You will analyze data, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to optimize performance while complying with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call rotations.
