Job summary

GE Vernova's Wind Remote Operations Center is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Barcelona hub. You will monitor performance, guide commissioning and service activities, analyze data trends, and coordinate with engineering teams to sustain high reliability.

We require an Engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, familiarity with SCADA tools, and strong analytical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical system experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and structured communication under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service through remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance focus.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call rotations.
