GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona to monitor offshore wind assets, lead remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and service activities. You will work with site teams and engineers to ensure safe, efficient operations across lifecycle.

The role requires a degree in engineering, wind energy experience, SCADA know-how, and strong problem-solving and communication skills, with willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure, and a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
