Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and collaborate with field teams to ensure reliable operation throughout commissioning and service phases.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree (or equivalent wind-energy experience), hands-on wind turbine experience, proficiency with SCADA, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind-energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting for commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.

Education
