Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor wind assets, lead remote diagnostics, and support both commissioning and service activities to ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, hands-on wind turbine experience, proficiency with SCADA systems, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them to troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English; willingness to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
