Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, reliable operation and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, wind-energy experience, and fluent English. Travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are expected; relocation to Barcelona may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical, structured communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical details.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
