Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for a Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and support commissioning and service phases to ensure reliability across the asset lifecycle.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, hands-on wind turbine experience, and strong diagnostic skills with SCADA systems. Travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are required; fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent.
Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
Strong analytical, structured communication and teamwork.
Willingness to travel up to 20% in Europe.
Fluent English; Spanish is a plus; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
