Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to oversee remote operations of offshore wind assets, ensuring safe and efficient performance while driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve issues, maintaining turbine reliability.

You will monitor systems via SCADA, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to data-driven optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operations.
• Fluent English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
