Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in wind energy. You will oversee safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote center, working with site teams and engineers to detect, analyze, and resolve issues to ensure turbine reliability.

You will monitor performance, diagnose remotely, and lead troubleshooting across commissioning and service phases, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance; respond to alarms and abnormalities.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
• Support grid outages, prioritizing safety and compliance.
• Work a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/holidays.
