Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center focused on offshore wind assets, coordinating with site teams and engineering to monitor performance and resolve issues from a centralized hub in Barcelona.

You will oversee commissioning and service phases, perform remote diagnostics, analyze data, drive improvements, and ensure safety and compliance, with rotating shifts and occasional on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent wind energy experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
