GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona oversees safe offshore wind asset operations from a remote center, supporting commissioning and service phases to ensure turbines perform reliably.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, SCADA knowledge, and the ability to read electrical schematics, with up to 20% travel and a rotating weekday shift; relocation to Barcelona is expected for EU eligible candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on‑call support during weekends and public holidays
