GE Vernova's ROC Technical Lead in Wind Remote Operations is seeking a skilled engineer to monitor offshore wind assets from a remote operations center near Barcelona. You will diagnose issues, coordinate with field teams, and drive continuous improvement across commissioning and service phases.

We value strong reading of electrical schematics, SCADA proficiency, and a collaborative mindset. Expect travel up to 20% and visa-friendly relocation to Barcelona. Fluency in English required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine/ocean energy equipment operation experience.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Proficient with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and clear technical communication under pressure.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on‑call support during weekends and public holidays.
