GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose remote issues, and support commissioning and service activities.

The role requires reading electrical schematics, SCADA experience, and strong analytical, with fluent English and willingness to relocate to Barcelona. Travel up to 20% and EU work eligibility are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or related electromechanical systems exposure.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot field issues.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and clear technical communication abilities.
• Available to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona, EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex problems with structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outage activities with focus on safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call coverage during weekends/holidays.
