GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities. Collaborative engineering touchpoints and data-driven improvements are key.

The role requires wind energy experience, SCADA proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 20%. Relocation to Barcelona and EU work eligibility are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
