GE Vernova in Barcelona seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You’ll monitor performance, respond to alarms, and support commissioning and service activities.

The role requires hands-on wind turbine experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and experience with SCADA systems, paired with clear technical communication in English. Travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona complete the profile.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
