Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and collaborate with site teams to keep turbines operating reliably across commissioning and service phases.

You will work with engineering experts to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and contribute to safety and process improvements. Fluency in English required, Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
