Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, focused on offshore wind assets. You will monitor, diagnose, and optimize turbine performance, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable operations across commissioning and service phases.

You will guide field teams, analyze data, and drive continuous improvements while supporting occasional weekend/on-call needs. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent in English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
