Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operations from a centralized hub, supporting commissioning and service phases with remote diagnostics and field coordination.

You will analyze data, troubleshoot, and collaborate with engineers to drive reliability and continuous improvement, while meeting safety and regulatory requirements. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind energy or electromechanical systems experience in ops.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with occasional on-call weekends/holidays.
