Santander is recruiting a Vice-President for CIB Credit Trading / Structured Credit Trading in Madrid or London. The role focuses on pricing, hedging and risk management of structured credit and hybrids, with mentoring of junior team members and collaboration with Quants and Structurers.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in credit/structured trading, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English; Spanish or another EU language is a plus, with a hybrid work model offered.

Formación

• Education as specified: sciences or economics/statistics
• Working language is English (required); Spanish or other European language a plus
• Hard skills include strong problem-solving; AI-assisted coding tools a plus
• Soft skills: team player, entrepreneurial, delivery-oriented, fast-paced trading environment

Responsabilidades

• Pricing, executing and hedging structured credit and hybrids transactions, including repacks and credit linked notes
• Risk managing trading positions dynamically
• Training junior resources on the trading team
• Maintaining, improving and creating trading monitoring tools
• Contributing to new product development initiatives with Quants, Structurers and Support/Control functions
