Santander is recruiting a Vice-President for CIB Credit Trading / Structured Credit Trading in Madrid or London. The role focuses on pricing, hedging and risk management of structured credit and hybrids, with mentoring of junior team members and collaboration with Quants and Structurers.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in credit/structured trading, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English; Spanish or another EU language is a plus, with a hybrid work model offered.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Professional Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in Credit, Hybrids, Structured Rates or XVA trading/structuring/quant roles (Required)
• Education Bachelor/Masters/PhD in Sciences (Maths, Physics, Computer Science) or in Economics/Statistics (Required)
• Languages Working language is English (Required) Spanish or another European language are a plus (Preferred)
• Hard Skills Strong problem-solving skills (Required) Familiarity with AI-augmented coding tools is a plus (Preferred)
• Soft Skills Team player (Required) Entrepreneurial, delivery-oriented mindset (Required) Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment (Required)
