Placements24 is seeking a Junior Project Manager Trainee for a client in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role offers an excellent entry point to build a career in project management and exposure to the full project lifecycle.

You will work with experienced PMs to learn coordination, risk management, stakeholder communication, and resource allocation while contributing to real-world initiatives. This trainee position emphasizes hands-on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project, Excel, and Word.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as project needs dictate.
• Candidates based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning and scheduling project activities.
• Track project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
• Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation.
• Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in managing project budgets and resource allocation.
• Learn and apply project management methodologies and tools.
• Help in identifying and assessing project risks.
• Contribute to team meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Support the procurement process for project resources.
• Assist in project closure activities and post-project reviews.
