Job summary

Mattel in Barcelona, Spain is hiring to support commercial planning and execution for the Trading Cards portfolio, driving revenue and margin within strategic guardrails. You will translate global direction into local plans, support pricing, promotions, and activation, and work closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to optimize market performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• 5+ years in commercial strategy, brand management, trade marketing, or sales strategy preferred.
• Trading Cards/Collectibles portfolio experience advantageous.
• Spanish, French, German, or Italian language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of AOP and A&P plans by market, aligned to global targets.
• Translate regional direction into market-level commercial plans and priorities.
• Support product selection by market and channel, including exclusives coordination.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement actions to improve performance.
• Manage relationships with external partners for marketing and execution.
• Support pricing, assortment decisions, and analyze pricing/promotional performance.
• Assist in executing promotional plans to drive revenue and margin outcomes.
• Collaborate with media and PR teams to support market campaigns.
• Partner with Sales and Supply Chain for demand planning and forecast alignment.
• Engage with cross-country retailers as required.
