Ferrovial Construction busca un Especialista en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales para unirse al equipo remoto y apoyar proyectos en Vigo, Galicia. El candidato ideal gestionará políticas de seguridad, evaluaciones de riesgos y formación para equipos de obra.

Se requieren grado en Seguridad y Salud, máster en PRL y al menos 5 años en construcción. Se valorará capacidad de trabajo autónomo, comunicación efectiva y dominio de software de seguridad.

Qualifications

• Universidad con grado en Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo o campo relacionado.
• Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (o equivalente en España).
• Al menos 5 años de experiencia en el sector construcción.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar, implementar y monitorear políticas y procedimientos de seguridad.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos y auditorías de obras de forma remota cuando sea posible.
• Ofrecer asesoría y formación en seguridad a equipos de sitio y dirección.
• Investigar accidentes y proponer acciones correctivas para evitar recurrencias.
• Gestionar documentación de seguridad y garantizar cumplimiento legal.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety management systems and policies for construction sites nationwide, with a focus on Vigo .
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site inspections (remotely where possible, or coordinating on‑site personnel) to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert advice and training to site managers, supervisors, and workers on all aspects of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and regional health and safety legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including reports, records, and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases of construction projects.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in occupational health and safety legislation and technology.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors.

Requirements

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or equivalent official qualification in Spain).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
