This role focuses on supporting projects in the Vigo, Galicia region, while the position itself is fully remote from home office.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Spain equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in construction safety.
• Knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation.
• Experience in delivering safety training.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and improve health and safety management systems for construction sites nationwide, with Vigo focus.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections, remotely when possible, coordinating on-site personnel.
• Investigate accidents and near misses, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and regional health and safety legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including reports, records, and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases of construction projects.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in occupational health and safety legislation and technology.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors.

Requirements

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or equivalent official qualification in Spain).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
