Job summary

Sesé Group busca un Especialista en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (PRL) para unirse a su equipo remoto. Apoyará proyectos en Vigo, Galicia, desarrollando e implementando políticas y procedimientos de seguridad, y monitorizará riesgos para garantizar entornos de trabajo seguros.

El candidato debe tener experiencia en PRL en construcción, formación en seguridad y capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente desde casa, colaborando con gerentes y equipos en sitio cuando sea necesario.

Qualifications

• Título universitario en Salud y Seguridad Laboral, Ingeniería o campo relacionado.
• Máster en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales u otra cualificación oficial en España.
• Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en PRL en la industria de la construcción.
• Conocimiento profundo de la legislación de seguridad y salud en España.
• Experiencia en impartir formación en seguridad.
• Capacidad analítica, resolución de problemas y elaboración de informes.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interlocución con todas las jerarquías.
• Dominio de software de gestión de seguridad y aplicaciones de oficina.
• Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente en remoto.

Responsibilities

• Desarrollar, implantar y mejorar sistemas y políticas de seguridad para obras a nivel nacional.
• Realizar evaluaciones de riesgos e inspecciones de obras, señalando medidas de control.
• Investigar accidentes e incidentes, determinar causas y aplicar acciones correctivas.
• Proporcionar asesoramiento y formación a gerentes, supervisores y trabajadores.
• Garantizar cumplimiento de la legislación de seguridad laboral aplicable.
• Preparar y mantener documentación de seguridad, informes y planes de emergencia.
• Colaborar con equipos de proyecto para integrar la seguridad en la planificación.
• Mantenerse actualizado sobre cambios en la normativa y tecnología de seguridad.
• Fomentar una cultura de seguridad proactiva en la organización.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety management systems and policies for construction sites nationwide, with a focus on Vigo .
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and site inspections (remotely where possible, or coordinating on-site personnel) to identify potential hazards and recommend control measures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide expert advice and training to site managers, supervisors, and workers on all aspects of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and regional health and safety legislation and standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate health and safety documentation, including reports, records, and emergency plans.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases of construction projects.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in occupational health and safety legislation and technology.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging proactive safety behaviors.

Requirements

• University degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (or equivalent official qualification in Spain).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish health and safety legislation and its application in construction.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
