Job summary

87S Group in Barcelona seeks a Content Manager - Team Lead (French Speaker) to oversee linguistic projects and ensure high-quality multilingual content.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with freelancers and internal teams, and guide a growing team toward meeting client tone and brand guidelines. Fluency in French and English is required; knowledge of CAT tools and PM software is a plus. This is a permanent full-time role with standard weekdays.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in translation project management or related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Communication, Translation or related field.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Airtable, Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Strong knowledge of CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast) and familiarity with AI platforms.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring the progress of linguistic projects.
• Ensuring content quality across a wide range of styles, terminologies, and formats.
• Balancing project budgets, negotiating deadlines, and ensuring overall profitability.
• Collaborating closely with subsidiaries in target markets and with internal teams.
• Ensuring all content aligns with the client’s desired tone, style, and brand identity.
• Briefing and coordinating with freelance writers, translators, editors, proofreaders, and reviewers.
• Handling all tasks related to linguistic project coordination.
• Supervise, guide, and develop team members by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, fostering collaboration, and supporting individual professional growth.
