Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Tender Manager for the Iberian Zone Solution Center to lead bid responses, define strategies, and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will analyze RFQs, draft offers, and drive risk assessment while engaging customers and SMEs.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, strong distribution and control systems knowledge, and fluency in English with Portuguese mandatory and Spanish desirable. Hybrid work arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineer (control systems preferred) or related field.
• Strong technical background in Electrical Distribution Solutions and Control Systems.
• Ability to be customer facing with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Bids/Proposals area.
• Ability to lead with agility in a complex & matrix environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a concise and synthetic manner in a multi-cultural environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Project, AutoCAD, SAP, AutoCAD, E-Plan, Visio; ETAP desirable.
• Fluent English (C1); Portuguese mandatory; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Opportunity Leader in influence plan deployment and RFQ drafting.
• Be in a customer-facing role when required.
• Analyze RFQs and recommend BID/NO BID at preliminary stages.
• Monitor gate reviews and information collection to start tender work.
• Define bid execution strategy aligned with selling strategy and target price.
• Prepare risk analysis and mitigation with SMEs support.
• Manage and draft the offer including technical proposal and contractual aspects.
• Lead liaison meetings and define interfaces with stakeholders.
• Contribute to project handover to execution team and post-tender reviews.
• Support improvements to quotation tools and share lessons learned.
