Sulzer is seeking a Senior Application Tendering Engineer to bolster our Spain-based Business Support team. You will prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across projects and tenders.

You will support the sales process from lead generation to negotiation, analyzing requirements, performing sizing calculations, and developing competitive quotations. Fluency in English and Spanish/Portuguese is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years in tendering/application engineering/technical sales support in water sector
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and with international teams
• English proficiency at B2 or higher
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills relevant to markets

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for configurable equipment and engineering solutions across projects and tenders.
• Support the sales process from lead generation through negotiation with technical and commercial input.
• Analyze customer requirements and perform sizing calculations to recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Develop quotations and commercial offers using quotation/configuration tools.
• Maintain opportunities, accounts, and project data in Salesforce and related systems.
• Coordinate with customers, sales teams, product managers and manufacturing sites for accurate proposals.
• Assist pricing activities including special pricing assessments and non-standard proposals.
• Coordinate quotation activities for large and strategic projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve quotation tools, processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to maintain technical/commercial documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders including sales teams and business support functions.
• Contribute to business transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with engineering companies, consultants, and other stakeholders in bidding processes.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Compliance, Equality and Data Protection requirements.
