Ebury is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Client Ops team in Málaga or Madrid. You’ll design, build and operate core backend services in Python or TypeScript/Node.js, focusing on data integrity and scalable APIs that support multiple domains.

From day one you’ll influence architecture, drive quality, and contribute to mission-critical fintech projects. You’ll collaborate across teams, own end-to-end features, and help evolve our platform to replace legacy integrations with reusable services.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
• 5+ years backend software engineering; 7+ years with cross-domain impact.
• Experience in fintech or financial services environment.
• Production backend services, API design, data modeling, and microservices.
• Source-of-truth data boundaries and core service ownership.
• Ability to build reusable services and reduce CRM complexity.
• Experience integrating LLMs or readiness to apply AI in prod.
• Fullstack capability with React for ops tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal English; strong influencing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and operate reusable backend services in Python or TS/Node.js.
• Lead migrations to retire legacy integrations and improve data contracts.
• Move domain logic from Salesforce into purpose-built platforms.
• Collaborate through RFCs, reviews, testing and CI/CD.
• Own features end-to-end and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Develop production-grade AI features and orchestrations.
