Omya Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. in Barcelona seeks an Accounts Payable professional to validate and post invoices, and to handle vendor inquiries. You will support month-end closing and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a finance or administration degree, 1 year in accounting, SAP experience, and strong English (B2); Italian is a plus. Hybrid and full-time in Barcelona with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• University degree in finance and/or administration (ideal, not a must).
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
• Fluent in English (B2), good command of both oral & written.
• Advanced proficiency in Italian is ideal.

Responsabilidades

• Be in charge of validating and posting invoices following company guidelines and processes.
• Resolve internal and external queries (payment status, general information, vendor reconciliation).
• Perform the assigned tasks and work with other streams for month-end closing.
• Provide support and build a professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Resolve issues detected in quality controls (e.g. VAT code, currency, legal entity).

Specifically, the Accounts Payable department is responsible for processing vendor invoices and queries in line with established service-level agreements to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

• Beinchargeofvalidatingandpostinginvoicesfollowingcompanyguidelinesandprocesses,fulfillingcountrylegalrequirementsandcontrolsforthecountriesassigned.
• Resolveinternalandexternalqueries(paymentstatus,generalinformation,vendorreconciliation)
