Omya is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Barcelona to validate and post invoices, ensure compliance with country-specific requirements and support month-end closing. The role focuses on maintaining accurate vendor data and timely payments within SLAs.

You will handle internal and external inquiries, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to financial reporting accuracy. A university degree in finance or admin is preferred, with SAP experience a plus, and English with

• University degree in finance and/or administration (ideal, not a must).
• At least 1 year experience in accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts.
• Fluent in English (B2) good command of both oral & written.
• Advanced proficiency in Italian is ideal.

• Resolve issues detected in quality controls (e.g. VAT code, currency, legal entity…)

In Barcelona, the global business service provides financial support to more than 18 countries. Specifically, the Accounts Payable department is responsible for processing vendor invoices and queries in line with established service-level agreements to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting. We aim to establish a strong and mutually beneficial professional relationship with our business partners and other financial departments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
