Job summary

Scalers is seeking an HR & People Generalist to join the Spain team. You will structure HR across Spain and act as the expert on Spanish employment law, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and policy adherence. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and help drive people initiatives.

The role focuses on end-to-end HR processes, policy compliance, and collaborating with management to align people strategy with business goals in a FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant HR generalist experience.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels and manage conflicts and change.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance business and people priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related queries and processes.
• Educate Managers on people matters and monitor plan execution.
• Prepare HR documentation, maintain HR systems.
• Coordinate with external payroll provider and ensure data for payroll.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment.
