Job summary

Lexroom is building an AI platform for legal work with a fast-growing presence in Europe. The People Operations Specialist for Spain will own the employee experience, payroll, and compliance as the team expands in Madrid and Barcelona.

You’ll drive payroll accuracy, onboarding efficiency and data-driven improvements, partnering with external providers and legal advisors to scale Spain smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in People Operations or HR Operations with contracts, onboarding and payroll exposure.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law fundamentals and payroll handling with external providers.
• Comfort with data, HRIS systems, and identifying automation opportunities.
• Strong organization, deadlines and attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient mindset with proactive issue resolution.
• Excellent spoken and written communication in Spanish and English; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for People in Spain for Madrid and Barcelona teams.
• Own the employee lifecycle end to end: contracts, onboarding and benefits.
• Manage payroll inputs and data with external partners for accuracy monthly.
• Build a compliance foundation as headcount grows in Spain.
• Automate repetitive tasks using AI, HiBob and data dashboards.
