Job summary

Scalers is seeking an HR & People Generalist to join the Spain team. You will structure HR across Spain and act as the expert on Spanish employment law, supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and policy adherence. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and help drive people initiatives.

The role focuses on end-to-end HR processes, policy compliance, and collaborating with management to align people strategy with business goals in a FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant HR generalist experience.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels and manage conflicts and change.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance business and people priorities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a HR & People Generalist to join their team in Spain, who will have a focus on structuring their human resource needs across Spain and being the expert on Spanish Law from a HR and employment perspective. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll & benefits, company policy, procedure adherence and building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and support to the employees & managers on end-to-end HR-related queries processes
• Help to educate Managers on all people matters, including legal implications of not following a proper process, and monitoring their execution of agreed plans.
• Preparing HR documentation and files, maintaining HR systems
• Cooperating with the external payroll provider, preparing all the necessary documentation & data for pay list calculation
• Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
• Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal
