SOFAR is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the utility-scale solar and BESS market. You will drive strategy, manage key stakeholders, and close large projects with EPCs, developers, and utilities.

The role requires a strong background in PV systems and energy storage, a proven track record of program leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% to win strategically important opportunities.

Formación

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy required.
• At least 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar or BESS sales with large projects.
• Proven track record closing large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, grid connection, inverter/BESS technologies.
• Familiar with EPC, tendering, and financing structures in utility-scale projects.
• Extensive network with developers, EPCs or utilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Identify and engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities to build partnerships.
• Lead full sales cycle from project identification to contract closure.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers with system solutions and value propositions.
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities in the sector.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management and forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and proposals.
• Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
• Report on project pipeline, sales performance, and market insights.
• Collect customer feedback and work with product teams to optimize solutions.
