Sofar is seeking an experienced Utility Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and expand our presence in the utility-scale solar and BESS market. The candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities, and manage the full sales cycle from identification to contract closure.

A strong background in solar energy systems and inverter/BESS technologies, plus excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in utility-scale solar/BESS sales with large project experience.
• Proven ability to manage and close large-scale solar or energy storage projects.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, grid connection, and inverter/BESS technologies.
• Familiar with utility-scale project development cycle, including EPC, tendering, and financing structures.
• Strong network with developers, EPCs, or utilities is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Identify and engage with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities to build long-term partnerships.
• Lead the full sales cycle from project identification, bidding, negotiation to contract closure.
• Provide technical and commercial support, including system solutions and value proposition.
• Monitor market trends, policies, and competitor activities in the utility-scale solar sector.
• Achieve or exceed annual sales targets through pipeline management and forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized proposals and solutions.
• Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
