Job summary

Axpo Group in Madrid is seeking a senior technical owner for our Microsoft 365 collaboration experience. You will resolve complex incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and Microsoft support to keep thousands of colleagues productive and secure.

You will design automations, self-service tools, and runbooks, coach frontline staff, and contribute to knowledge management to raise resolution quality across the team. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support or infrastructure
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 in enterprise environments
• Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Purview
• Experience leading structured troubleshooting and problem management
• PowerShell familiarity; Graph/Power Automate a plus
• Fluent English and stakeholder communication

Responsibilities

• Own expert-level administration and troubleshooting across the M365 stack – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Purview and Defender controls
• Act as senior escalation point for complex, high-impact incidents, driving them to resolution with technical teams, vendors and Microsoft support
• Lead root-cause investigations using logs, diagnostics and PowerShell, distinguishing symptoms from underlying causes
• Drive problem management: analyze ticket trends and recurring issues, define corrective actions, and track them until measurable improvement
• Design and maintain automations, self-service tools and diagnostic scripts to reduce manual support
• Coach 1st-level colleagues and create knowledge-base articles and runbooks

What you will do:

• Own expert-level administration and troubleshooting across the M365 stack – Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Purview and Defender-related controls

• Act as senior escalation point for complex, high-impact incidents, driving them to resolution together with technical teams, vendors and Microsoft support

• Lead root-cause investigations using message traces, audit logs, diagnostics and PowerShell, distinguishing symptoms from underlying causes

• Drive problem management: analyze ticket trends and recurring issues, define corrective actions, and track them until measurable improvement is achieved

• Design and maintain automations, self-service tools and diagnostic scripts that reduce avoidable manual support effort

• Coach 1st-level colleagues and create knowledge-base articles, runbooks and troubleshooting guides that raise resolution quality across the team

What you bring & who you are:

• University degree in business informatics, computer science or equivalent professional experience

• 5+ years in IT support, application or infrastructure support, including solid hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment

• Strong, practical knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Entra ID, Intune, Purview and related identity/security concepts

• Experience leading structured troubleshooting and problem-management processes, with a methodical, improvement-driven mindset

• Confident with PowerShell – ideally complemented by Microsoft Graph, Power Automate or similar automation tools

• Fluent in English and comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels; even if you don't tick every box, we look forward to your application
